The table below gives a guide to the penalty points a court may impose.
This does not mean the penalty will not carry a ban.

For example The offence DD40 (Dangerous driving) carries 3 -11 penalty points, You can only be issued with 11 penalty points, the 12th point is a disqualification. So for this offence you may well receive a ban.
