All ADI (Approved Driving Instructors) are highly trained and regularly tested on there ability to teach Learner Drivers. So what makes one instructor different from another. There are a few differences.

Firstly, Recommendations. Has someone recommended the instructor to you? Someone who has had experience with the Instructor can give you an insight into there teaching style.

Next, there is Personality, you want an Instructor you can bond with. Someone that understands you, someone you can easily approach and talk to. Ask for an Introductory lesson and see how it goes.

Next, there is the Car the Instructor uses, Although this is not a very important aspect, it is one to bare in mind.

Next is Price. Instructors charge different rates. Driver Training is a competitive business and instructors prices reflect this. But bare in mind, the cheapest is not necessarily the best.

What else does the Instructor offer? Once you have passed your test, does he/she offer any further training like Pass Plus?

Ask friends and family who taught them. And if you have chosen your instructor and are not happy with him/her, there is no shame is moving to another instructor.
